Anthony serves as Vice President, Marketing at Calvert Holdings, Inc. where he leads a team of talented professionals across multiple disciplines to design and execute various marketing and business development strategies. Anthony’s entree into the Calvert organization began in 2011, when he joined Calvert Research, a strategic advisory and equity investment firm for the life sciences. In this role, Anthony was responsible for identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities for the firm.
Prior to joining Calvert Research, Anthony enjoyed a successful seven-year career with AstraZeneca, a top-tier, research-based, biopharmaceutical company. During his tenure, he worked closely with an experienced pharmaceutical sales and marketing team to develop and execute brand strategy and cultivated close working relationships with key thought leaders across many different therapeutic areas. His experience spans over several blockbuster drugs in the marketplace that have achieved multi-billion dollar annual revenues, including Nexium, Crestor, Seroquel, Symbicort, Atacand, and Toprol-XL.
Anthony attended Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He also holds an MBA from the Jenkins Graduate School of Management at North Carolina State University.
